There are still big changes happening - just not in my scale weight. ;-)
For example, there is only a three pound difference in these pictures, taken exactly two weeks apart:
I know the pictures are blurry if you try to make them big - I don't know exactly what I did but I messed them up in the collage-making process! - but there's definitely a difference in my waist and hips. It has been a little nerve-wracking to watch the scale-weight-progress slow down, but at this point I am just trusting the process.
...And thinking way too much about Microbiology to waste much time worrying.
I can tell my body fat levels are dropping anyway because I am walking around in these all the time:
And I am in Florida. And it's August.
On that note, I cannot believe it's been over a year since Max and I moved here. And today is our three year anniversary! :) I may not gush about Max much on the ol' blog, but I am absolutely blessed to have this incredible marriage and relationship and am forever grateful for the honesty, love and support we share. :)
Happy Monday! :)

Congrats to you and Max! And you look great. :)

DeleteHehe, I have a huge collection of fuzzy sucks. They're the way to go. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love them!!!!!!
DeleteThat's a great difference and progress! Congrats! Something I'm hoping to see once I start lifting heavy properly- and learning to take less notice of the scale which I think I can see a bit of difference with already. And- you just gotta love socks lol.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Ashleigh! Yes, definitely ignore the scale, especially when you're starting lifting! =)
DeleteStill looking amazing :)
ReplyDeleteI think your love and appreciation for Max actually does come through very strongly on the blog - and the pic of you two together in the header never fails to make me smile because it's so genuine and heart-warming.
Really? Thank you so much =) I feel like I should gush about him more - like I see other bloggers do - but it just doesn't fit in with the theme of the blog ya know?
DeleteYou look awesome. I wear fuzzy socks and drink hot cocoa year round in Southern VA when it's 90 so I feel you on that one!
