There are a LOT of changes happening in the Squat Like A Lady household lately.
As you all know, I'm going to be competing in my first figure show and powerlifting meet (finally). Max's grampa already booked a hotel room to come watch the figure show, so the pressure is ON!
I am also going back to school...again....which means that I'll be leaving my job at the end of this month and hoping I can find a new one that will work around my class schedule.
So, needless to say, I've been trying to de-stress. I...
focus on the progress I'm making:
hang out by the pool:
food prep like a madwoman:
drive around the beautiful Gulf Coast (sparingly, gotta save that gas money)
And my favorite way to kill stress? Is to tell Max I'm nervous, and say, "Are you with me? Come what may?" And hear him say yes. =) There's nothing like KNOWING you can rely on someone.

Yes, de stress! you so deserve it too! and yea for back to school. You've got one supportive husband. Love that!
ReplyDeleteMe too! =) I am one lucky girl =)
DeleteHanging by the pool is always relaxing. And I love love your support for each other!
ReplyDeleteI love it! I am such a water person. I absolutely adore having a pool nearby - and good enough weather to use it!

DeleteSeriously - those legs. Damn!
ReplyDelete:)
First of all, those legs! Darn it woman! And second of all, it's so funny that you're in the stages of contest prep, and I'm in the post contest mode, which honestly, I think is far more stressful than contest prep because there is such stress wondering how much weight I will gain with each bag of licorice all-sorts that I consume. Can't wait to continue hearing about your progress.
